SAMR

What is SAMR..that thing was popped into my mind. SAMR is a learning model that developed in many things. Let me explain you from the word. Based on Google, SAMR is a model designed to help educators infuse technology into teaching and learning. Popularized by Dr. Ruben Puentedura, the model supports and enables teachers to design, develop, and infuse digital learning experiences that utilize technology. SAMR stands for Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. The model looks like this: The lower section of the model is the “Enhancement” stage, where technology is used to enhance what used to be analog measures For my SAMR, I was little confused. Collaborative Essay

At the the first time hearing these words, 1 thing that just popped in my mind; collaboration. Will I do an eassy with collaboration, I mean with many people? the answer is yes. I did the essay with many people. We use Google docs as the media. I have done it before in other class (writing class). also I have already know this apps since I was in in Senior High School (around 4 years ago). Who told me about that? My cousin who at that time she still in university and she use this app. She told me that this app is very useful and helpful. We can do in the same page but in a different places. When I heard it, I just say wow, this app is amazing. So back to the beginning. I just did a collaborative essay with my friends. 1 group consist of 4 people.I just want to tell you what I have learned from this experience. Blended Learning

What is Blended Learning? for the first time, I also confuse. I thought blended learning is we learn also blend with other people but it's wrong. Blended learning combines multiple delivery media that are designed to complement each other and promote learning and application-learned behavior. So 1 material has a lot of sources. I made blended learning about Mozart's biography. Why I made about this topic? I'm a music teacher, I have desire to make my students know deeper about musicians, at least make an interesting comprehension for them. I made this to help y students practice reading, and also have more knowledge about musicians, this is one of the music aspects. Music has a lot of aspects; practice, theory, experiences, biographies, and many more. So besides my students learn practical and theories, they also have to learn the others. Mobile Learning

Mobile Learning. One thing that popped into our minds; learn thing using a mobile phone, may be education game in a smartphone, or watching education video in a smart phone, or whatever it is, it using a mobile phone. What I think is basically true. Mobile learning is a learning process using a smartphone. even you taking a picture, it includes mobile learning. taking a picture of important things like a museum, notes, anything!  In this case, Jovita and Pricil made Nearpod. We made a topic; apostrophe S and capital letter. What is the setting? We think that this kind of activity can be done in school learning, everyday learning, and private learning. This is very cool because when we explain it, we also can make quizzes at the same time, so after listening to our explain, and also after watching a related video that we put in there, students can do the quizzes, it can e a mini quiz like multiple choice, draw which one is true or draw which one should be better.   What...

Flipped Classroom

Flipped Classroom? What is that? is that a class that can flip? or something else? I really do not have any idea of this classroom. Flipped classroominverts the traditional teaching method, delivering instruction online outside of class and moving "homework" into the classroom. I haven't experienced any of flipped classroom if I'm not mistake. I just had a normal classroom: in class, teachers and lecturers explain the materials and we had our homework. From what I have experienced, there are a lot of homework and sometime I don't understand what does it mean and I do not know the answers. when I have this situation, the least  can do was asking my parents. If this kind of classroom applied in Indonesia, I don't think all school can do that, especially the students. IF it is international or national plus school, it still make any sense that the students can do that because the majority of international and national plus school students are advantages. what...

Making Video by Adobe Spark

Hello! Today I want to write about Adobe Spark. What is that? According to Wikipedia, Adobe Sparks is an integrated suite of storytelling applications for the iPad, iPhone, and web developed by Adobe Systems. It comprises three separate design apps: Spark Page, Spark Post, and Spark Video. Its apps became the company's first to be named by Apple as an App Store Best App of the Year and has been downloaded over 3.5 million times. I just know that adobe has editor for video; adobe spark. What I known before is Adobe Audition, a digital audio workstation from Adobe Systems featuring both a multitrack, non-destructive mix/edit environment and a destructive-approach waveform editing view. Hot potatoes. What is hot potatoes? Refer to Wikipedia, The Hot Potatoes software suite includes five applications that can create exercises for the World Wide Web. The applications are JCloze, JCross, JMatch, JMix and JQuiz. There is also a sixth application called The Masher, that will compile all the Hot Potatoes exercises into one unit. Hot Potatoes was created by the Research and Development team at the University of Victoria Humanities Computing and Media Centre.
