Exploring Learning Sites



I choose TESL questions. Why I choose that? There are many topics in there. It will make us, as junior teachers or senior teachers have a lot of questions to entertain students. They will not bored when they attend our class and sometime a class which is no interaction between teacher and student will make them don’t like our subjects. It helps us to find a new idea of question. You know, we are not a super human. Sometime we don’t know what to do and what question should we ask. And this web is very fascinating. I know that we cannot depend in this web forever. We also must think by ourselves. But just in case, you can use this web. That’s why I choose this one. If we look there, there are so many questions in 1 topic. For example I choose topic about music. There are a lot of question about music. From 11th grade, I have been a private music teacher. Sometime, I ask my students some questions as it is written in ESL and some of them just no reaction a.k.a they are a passive person and some of them will tell me their loooong stories. This kind of interaction absolutely makes us become familiar. Hahaha. Also some time when I meet new friends in a music gathering, I ask them a couple of question like in the ESL and thankfully we become friends. An interactive moment will make us close to each other because from that moment, I will get to know each other. It also happens in teacher-student relationship. As a teacher we have to act discipline to our students, but we also must be their friend, help each other. We should know what time we should change the role.

    Pricillia! That's totally true, 110%. Especially the part when students are so passive comparing with overseas students. I haven't know why Indonesian students are like that but because you're a teacher, I hope you can give some good example for better students soon! Well done.

Blended Learning

What is Blended Learning? for the first time, I also confuse. I thought blended learning is we learn also blend with other people but it's wrong. Blended learning combines multiple delivery media that are designed to complement each other and promote learning and application-learned behavior. So 1 material has a lot of sources. I made blended learning about Mozart's biography. Why I made about this topic? I'm a music teacher, I have desire to make my students know deeper about musicians, at least make an interesting comprehension for them. I made this to help y students practice reading, and also have more knowledge about musicians, this is one of the music aspects. Collaborative Essay

At the the first time hearing these words, 1 thing that just popped in my mind; collaboration. Will I do an eassy with collaboration, I mean with many people? the answer is yes. I did the essay with many people. We use Google docs as the media. I have done it before in other class (writing class). also I have already know this apps since I was in in Senior High School (around 4 years ago). Who told me about that? My cousin who at that time she still in university and she use this app. She told me that this app is very useful and helpful. We can do in the same page but in a different places.
